TO:  Landmarks Commission

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Eau Claire Landmarks Commission has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for Monday, August 1, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 203 S. Farwell Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  The following items will be on the agenda:

1. Approval of minutes:  July 11, 2011.

2. Appointment of interim Vice-chairperson.

3. Recommendation or comments on the proposed Eau Claire Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum building, south of the Carson Park Baseball Stadium.

4. Consideration of any Certificate of Appropriateness, including:
  A. To replace steps and add hand railings at 606 Fourth Avenue.

5. Update on reconstruction work at 310 Lake Street.

6. Update of landmark activities and properties, including:
A. Commission name change status.
B. Discussion of Historic Preservation presentation in the fall.
C. Report from HPF.
