PUBLIC HEARING

INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT – TOWN OF WHEATON

1.  Ordinance amending the Eau Claire Comprehensive Plan adding provisions on nonresidential land divisions in the Town of Wheaton as per the Intergovernmental Agreement.

2.  Ordinance amending the City’s Subdivision Code adding provisions for nonresidential land division in the Town of Wheaton as per the Intergovernmental Agreement.

ZONING

3.  Ordinance amending Section 18.06.030 of the Zoning Code to allow as a conditional use “Indoor Recreational Uses” in an I-1 and I-2 District.

4.  Ordinance rezoning property at 1300 First Avenue and 1428 Oxford Avenue (former Parks and Recreation building) from P-Public to R-4P and to adopt the General Development Plan for senior housing as shown on Planning File #Z-1494-11.

NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES

5.  Report on the 2011 National League of Cities Congress of Cities Conference.

CLOSED SESSION

Upon a motion duly made and carried, the City Council may go into closed session to review candidates for the position of interim City Manager, which is permitted in closed session pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which allows discussion of employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee, over whom the City Council exercises responsibility.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that an open public regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Eau Claire will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 203 S. Farwell Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to consider all matters which may properly be considered at a meeting of the City Council.

Due to requirements contained in the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law, only those matters placed on this agenda may be considered by the City Council at this meeting.  If any member of the public desires that the City Council consider a matter not included on this agenda, he or she should contact a City Council Member or the City Manager to have the matter considered for placement on a future City Council agenda.
