~Keep Eau Claire Beautiful~

The City of Eau Claire Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to help maintain public flower gardens and assist in keeping our parks clean. The focus is citywide beautification and promoting community pride through volunteerism.

Adopt a flower garden

Adopt a flower garden

Groups can adopt a public flower garden. The City will provide the materials. The group will plant and maintain the bed for one year. The City will install a sign at the site recognizing the group. These projects require a few hours of time each month during the spring and summer to plant flowers, pull weeds and mulch beds. This can be a great opportunity to meet other gardening enthusiasts, learn more about plant care, gain experience in garden design and plant selection, and beautify our community.

Adopt A Park, Playground or Trail

Groups and individuals can adopt a public area to help maintain. This could be ongoing throughout the year or a one-time event.
There are great opportunities for:

  • Scout groups
  • Civil groups
  • Church groups
  • School groups

Adopt A Park, Playground or Trail
