Eau Claire City-County Health Dept. is currently taking applications for the Medical Reserve Corps program.

The Eau Claire County MRC is a coordinated and collaborative effort by volunteers, government agencies, non-profit organizations, social service agencies, health care providers and government leadership, and most importantly, the citizens of Eau Claire County.  The effort to created the unit began in early 2009 as part of the Health Department's public health emergency preparedness and response program.

The Medical Reserve Corps provides an opportunity for Medial and non-Medical Professionals who live, work, and play in our great community to strengthen our local community emergency and disaster response plans.

The Health Department has volunteered to serve as the organizing partner for the Eau Claire County MRC unit.  The development has committed staff and funding through grants to ensure the development of the MRC.
