Although cases of H1N1 flu have declined in recent weeks, health experts encourage residents to protect themselves from H1N1 by getting vaccinated - and to do so soon in the event of a third wave of the virus this winter.
- Following Wisconsin Department of Health Services guidance, the Eau Claire City-County Health Dept. announced today that Eau Claire County healthcare providers offer H1N1 vaccination to all persons who wish to avoid the risk of H1N1 beginning Monday, December 14, 2009.
- Eau Claire County Residents will be able to dispose of expired or unused prescription and over-the-counter medications for free at four permanent collection sites across the county.
