Mission

Print
Dedicated to providing all-hazards support to emergency responders and the public health system by identifying, organizing, and training medical and non-medical volunteers to assist during emergency and non-emergency events.

The mission of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is to allow local volunteer medical and health professionals and non-medical background persons to contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year as well as during times of community need.

Our Medical Reserve Corps unit is made up of medical, health, and non-medical volunteers who can assist our community during emergencies, such as major weather, mass casualty, manmade or technology related events, or influenza pandemics. Our unit volunteers can also assist during non-emergency events, such as training exercises and drills, public health clinics, and health care system and provider related events.
