Attractions

  • Phoenix Park is now open!  Stop down and see this amazing park first hand.  There are five gathering spaces, a railroad-themed trailhead facility, amphitheatre and labyrinth.  The construction on the new farmer’s market structure started in September 2005 and will continue in Spring 2006.
  • The Chippewa River Recreation Trail is now 30 miles in length from downtown Eau Claire to the city of Durand.  About 3.2 miles is within the City of Eau Claire and is free of charge to use.
  • The Chippewa Valley Symphony grew to a membership of 60-65 musicians for the 1978-79 season and remains about the same size today. The State: Regional Arts Center has been home to our office and the location of most concerts since 1988.
  • The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild has moved their new home shortly, 102 West Grand Ave.  This building was the home of the Salvation Army for many years.  The theatre guild will be doing some remodeling the interior, including adding seats for a theatre and improving handicap accessibility.
  • The Eau Claire Children's Theatre No matter what your age you can join us on stage.  Get audition information, rehearsal schedules and other details about performing with the Eau Claire Children's Theatre.
